Warehouse Building (No. 99)
As well as providing key storage and logistical services, the Warehouse Building (No.99) has also become provider of renewable energy and a vital link for green transport on the St Lucia campus.
Its 164 kWp PV system powers loads such as lighting and fans but it also includes an Electrical Vehicle (EV) charging station.
The system is expected to produce 240,000 kWh per year.
By powering one of the two EV charging stations installed at the St Lucia campus, this system also marks another milestone in UQ's sustainable transport strategy.
