Situated in Queensland's beautiful rural landscape, the Pinjarra Hills campus is a 282-hectare site where varied research activities take place.

The first solar pv system of this site was installed in 2016.

A 28.8 kW solar PV system has been installed in the roof of building complex 103. This system is composed of three main arrays installed across research buildings 103A, 103B, 103C and 103D.

This solar PV system is capabable of generating 42,000 kWh per annum; the equivalent of 16% of the Pinjarra Hills site's annual electricity consumption.
