Neutral integrity failure is a potentially dangerous condition where the current in a residential premise is unable to return to the source via neutral wire.

This project aims to develop reliable broken neutral fault detection methods by using real-time harmonic measurements from smart meters at residential houses. The techniques developed in this project can be used by distribution service network providers to remediate sites with neutral integrity issues and improve residential safety.
