PMU-based fault localisation in distribution networks

The main objective of this research is to identify the locations of the fault that occurred in the distribution networks based on the real-time PMU data. The developed approach will be used for underground cable/overhead line fault location identification and provide the distance of the fault to the PMUs. The developed algorithms will be integrated into the PMU-based power grid monitoring system by collaborating with network operators.
